Your chats and calls are protected
Your messages, calls and media are encrypted in transit and stored encrypted on our servers. Klic runs those servers to deliver your conversations across your devices. We're working toward end-to-end encryption.
Protected in transit and at rest
- Text and voice messages
- Audio and video calls
- Photos, videos and documents
What this means today
Klic is not yet end-to-end encrypted. Because our servers route and store your conversations, they can technically access message content in order to deliver it. We don't sell your data, we don't mine your conversations for ads, and we don't share personal information with third parties. Building end-to-end encryption — where only you and the people you're talking to hold the keys — is actively on our roadmap.
The essentials
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored encrypted at rest. You can delete your account at any time, and all associated data is removed within 30 days.
